Full valet parking generally includes a more thorough cleaning of the exterior and interior, as well as the application of a wax or sealant to the paint, and a dressing for tires and moldings on the outer plastic and rubber. If you have a pet, or have a particularly stubborn mess inside the car, there is likely to be a full valet on the cards. And secondly, because regularly cleaning and keeping your car clean can mean that your car will sell for more than it would if it weren't cleaned regularly by a professional. As you can see, valet parking offers a very extensive method of cleaning your car and ensures that you are left with a car with higher resale value, driving pleasure and a pleasure to look at. While a valet does not require car maintenance in any way, as a full service can be, consider doing a full valet service at least once in the life of your car, if only before you sell it.
I think a lot of people have come to relate valet parking and car detailing as two separate services, when in reality simply due to the bad press of low quality valet parking services available these days, they are still the same and only different terms used by different countries. Carrying your car to a valet is like taking your dress shirts to the dry cleaner—those stubborn stains that you can't get rid of will probably disappear when you get it back.
